1. Cut

Diamond cut defines how the diamond’s surfaces interacts with light rays.

Light refraction and a diamond’s visible scintilation are transmitted based on a diamond’s shape, symmetry, and ideal proportions.

2. Carat

The measurement of a diamond’s weight is universally measured in carats.

The term ‘carat’ come from the carob seed. When gem trading began, small and equally weighted carob seeds were used to balance scales. Years later, the universal form of diamond weight - the metric carat was derived and is still commonly used today.

3. Clarity

Diamond clarity denotes inclusions (internal flaws) or blemishes (external characteristics) in the diamond. Most imperfections can only be seen with
magnification.

The severity, size, and visibility of the inclusions and blemishes and how they impact the diamond's overall visual appearance determine its clarity grade. These are far less common in Laboratory grown diamonds largely free from common earth born diamond blemishes

4. Color

A diamond's color grade is based on a diamond's lack of hue. Diamonds are graded on a scale from D (colorless) to Z based on their light yellow or brown tint.

'Colorless' diamonds are extremely rare and considered to hold more value. 'Fancy' diamonds come in natural colors like blue, pink, and red and are graded differently than white or colorless diamonds. Choose from our large selection of colorless laboratory grown diamonds in all shapes and sizes.
